     A troubled excommunicated Native American teenager struggles in a world full of strangers - some good, some bad - who in many ways mirror us.

     ThunderCloud’s outer environment forces him to confront his inner demons, real and imaginary, leading him to his lonely situation. His internal discoveries change his entire outlook on his past, present, and future.

     The oddities of other people, cultures, generational differences and circumstances challenge and hone ThunderCloud's ability to relate to others and to live and work within groups. He learns that every condition of his life reflects personal responsibilities he either took up or ignored.

     With his new reality, he vows to return to his home reservation and make amends. On his journey, the challenges he faces test his mettle, help him save his and others' lives, and bring answers to the question we all ask ourselves, "Why ME?" 

     But, will ThunderCloud's "Principal People" (the Cherokee) accept his motley entourage consisting of renegade children, the woman by his side, and the adventure-filled stories he yearns to tell them? That is the final question and answer all readers would like to know!
